We are thrilled to announce the immediate availability of the Mapping Clarity Public API.
This new release opens up our powerful mapping engine to developers, allowing you to integrate our classification capabilities directly into your own applications, workflows, and data pipelines.
By programmatically accessing Mapping Clarity, you can automate complex categorization tasks in real-time. We designed this API to support high-value use cases, including:
Automated Budgeting Tools: Ingest raw bank statement line items and automatically map them to precise budget categories. This enables you to build personal finance or business budgeting apps that categorize transactions instantly, without manual user input.
Standardized Benchmarking: Automatically map General Ledger transaction items from different charts of accounts into standardized benchmarking categories. This allows for accurate, "apples-to-apples" financial comparisons across different entities or companies.
Access to the API is managed via API Keys, which can now be generated directly within the platform.
Log in to Mapping Clarity.
Navigate to the Tenant Admin menu at the top of the screen.
Select API Keys from the dropdown or sidebar.
Click Create API Key to generate a new token.
Note: You can view, manage, and revoke your active keys from this dashboard at any time.
